Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Duties

Actively participate in company safety culture
Inspect assigned equipment daily
Fuel and grease assigned equipment daily
Safely operate assigned equipment
Work diligently on assigned tasks
Notify supervisor in a timely manner of any job-related issues, incidents or accidents
Work in harmony with supervisor and fellow employees
Report any equipment abnormalities to the supervisor immediately
Accurately report daily hours worked to supervisor

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journeyman operator
Strong understanding of safety regulations for construction sites
Strong understanding of site survey control
Thorough understanding of the proper operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
Understanding of automated GPS survey and grade control.
Must possess a high degree of integrity
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER
Must be willing to travel
Must pass company pre-employment medical exam and drug test
Must pass pre-employment background check
