Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Duties:

• safety culture
• Inspect assigned equipment daily
• Fuel and grease assigned equipment daily
• Safely operate assigned equipment
• Work diligently on assigned tasks
• Notify supervisor in a timely manner of any job-related issues, incidents or accidents
• Work in harmony with supervisor and fellow employees
• Report any equipment abnormalities to the supervisor immediately
• Accurately report daily hours worked to supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journeyman operator
• Strong understanding of safety regulations for construction sites
• Strong understanding of site survey control
• Thorough understanding of the proper operation and maintenance of heavy equipment
• Understanding of automated GPS survey and grade control.
• Must possess a high degree of integrity
• Current 40-hour HAZWOPER
• Must be willing to travel
• Must pass company pre-employment medical exam and drug test
• Must pass pre-employment background check

Salary Range:

• $28-$35 per hour
