Chittenango Creek Bridge Repair

General Location: Chittenango N.Y.
Abscope was asked to quickly assist in recovering and stabilizing a historic bridge in Central New York (originally built in 1846) that had partially fallen into the water. Within days, a plan was developed, and the bridge temporarily stabilized for future assessment.
Abscope’s responsibilities:
- Extract the fallen bridge from the creek
- Support fallen corner
- Rebuild the wall with native rock
- Reinforce loose beams and supported corner
