Abscope was contracted to provide civil improvements for the re-power of a wind farm in Mid-West Region. Abscope closely coordinated its work activities with the trucking company responsible for the delivery of all windmill components
Abscopes Responsibilities:
- Restored 104 Crane Pads
- Excavated 14,200 linear feet of drainage ditching
- Overlaid and compacted 39,700 tons of new material to existing access roads (including geo fabric)
- Installed 6,000 linear feet of erosion and sediment controls throughout the site
- Hydroseeded over 11 acres
- Built two 2 laydown yards (total of 7.5 acres)
- Improved/widened turning radii at site entrances
- Graded 126 acres of refurbished access roadways
- Performed grout repairs at the base of 88 wind turbines
