Barrier Wall

General Location: New Jersey

Abscope Installed a permanent barrier wall at a former petroleum refinery in Bayonne, New Jersey. The barrier wall was designed to be installed within an existing barrier wall.

 

Abscope’s responsibilities:

• Pre trenched to along the slurry wall alignment to allow for the sheet pile to be embedded into the subsurface
• Provided 769 PZC steel sheets and installed joint sealant to create a water tight joint seal
• Approximately 1800 linear feet of 10 long sheets were installed
