Tunnel Area Abatement

General Location: Albany, NY

Abscope successfully completed a large scale tunnel area abatement at SUNY Albany. The work was executed within a 5 day window during annual steam shut-down.

Abscope’s responsibilities:

• Removal and disposal of approximately 200 linear feet of asbestos pipe insulation & fittings in 40 locations
• Constructed over 40 minor tent enclosures to perform work
• Implemented Site-Specific Safety protocol, requiring daily pre-work Safety Meetings
